During special events, customs officers from Mogilev and Vitebsk established three cases of violation of the fruit transportation procedure within a week. The movement of trucks carrying pears towards the Russian Federation was stopped at the Belarusian-Russian section of the border.
In total, they contained about 60 tons of pears worth more than 450 thousand Belarusian rubles.
None of the drivers could present the necessary transportation documents to the customs officers. They also lacked certificates confirming the safety of the products.

Vitebsk and Mogilev customs authorities have initiated administrative proceedings against the Belarusian carriers in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus. According to the sanctions of the article, they will have to pay a fine of up to 50% of the value of the products.
