Road repairs, electric heating. Presidential Aide held a reception for citizens and a direct line in Horadok

Ремонт дорог, электроотопление. Помощник Президента провел прием граждан и прямую линию в Городке
Issues of road repair, residential building, trade services in rural areas, and connection of electric heating were considered at the first on-site personal reception of citizens and direct telephone line in Gorodok by the recently appointed Presidential Aide - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Vladimir Yurgevich. Residents of the district center and Gorodok district contacted the Inspector for the Vitebsk Region via the direct telephone line. A female applicant from Gorodok said that the access road to her house needs repair, but she is told that she must do it at her own expense. The pensioner noted that she cannot afford it. The district executive committee said that the road will be covered with gravel mixture. The only problem is that the house is located on a hill, and the rain washes away the gravel road. A resident of Gorodok district had a question about trade services. She said that the store in her settlement was closed, the mobile shop brings an insufficient assortment, and she asked for it to be sorted out. In the summer, vacationers come to the village, almost 400 people, and according to the woman, there are not enough products for everyone. The district executive committee is aware of this problem and is keeping it under control. A woman from Gorodok who applied was interested in how to connect electric heating to a house that is on the balance of an agricultural enterprise. She had contacted the district executive committee to obtain permission for connection. The issue is under the control of the local authorities, and they will help to formalize the necessary documents. A resident of Gorodok shared on the direct line that the house where he lives has needed repairs for many years. The Chairperson of the district executive committee, Irina Polyakova, said that major repairs will begin in September, but the applicant is concerned that the work will be delayed and will only be completed in winter. Vladimir Yurgevich explained that he would take the issue under personal control. According to the representative of the district executive committee, all work will be carried out without relocation and strictly according to the schedule. Residents of Gorodok and Orsha district attended the personal reception of citizens. A town resident, a former liquidator of the Chernobyl NPP accident and a Group II disabled person, wanted to know if he could receive benefits for utility payments, but he was denied because his two sons and ex-wife, who have not lived with him for 15 years, are registered at the apartment. At the district executive committee, a specialist explained that, according to the law, able-bodied citizens registered and even not residing at the housing are obliged to support a relative. He noted that this issue needs to be resolved at a higher level, as the case is not isolated. Vladimir Yurgevich added that he has taken the applicant's issue under his personal control.

Citizens also approached the President's aide during a personal reception with questions about road repairs, the condition of a bridge, and hot water supply.

Summarizing the results of the direct line and personal reception of citizens, Vladimir Yurgevich noted that life support issues are paramount – problems with housing and communal services, road maintenance, and major repairs. "I will take all issues under my control. Some were resolved during the reception. When I was appointed to the position, I said that working with the population would be fundamental, especially in the regions," he emphasized.

Vladimir Yurgevich added that many issues raised by citizens are already being addressed, but the President's aide will take them under his personal control and study everything in detail once again.
