Activists of the structural divisions of the Vitebsk regional organization of the LDPL took part in the Republican Subbotnik, where they tidied up the roadside areas of the streets in their cities and towns, recreational parks, and courtyards.
The labor force of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus collected about 46 (forty-six) 200-liter bags of garbage, performed sanitary pruning of trees and shrubs, and painted curbs, benches, and elements of street decor.
Igor Teplyakov: Our party strives to constantly hold various events for landscaping and tidying up the land. We do not want to stand aside and, with understanding, make our feasible, voluntary contribution to the improvement of our streets, courtyards, coastal areas, and parks, making them cleaner, cozier, and more beautiful. Our work for the benefit of society also serves as a positive, visible example for every citizen of our country and, importantly, for our growing younger generation! And in the year of landscaping, this is especially atmospheric, relevant, and more than timely!
The staff of the administration of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk, the Vitebsk regional tax inspection, the Oktyabrsky district tax inspection of Vitebsk, the department for education, and educational institutions, under the leadership of the head of administration Vladimir Beleevich, tidied up the park named after the Soviet Army (Mazurino) as part of the republican subbotnik.

As part of the republican subbotnik, Novopolotsk residents planted 80 apple saplings at the construction site of the spiritual and educational center with a church in honor of Saint Archangel Michael. The number is symbolic – it represents the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Representatives of city authorities, enterprises, and institutions took part in the event.
The republican subbotnik united Dubroven residents, young and old, in their desire to tidy up their native land. Residents of Dubrovno and rural settlements are engaged in cleaning the territory, clearing bushes, and tidying up military burial sites and the territories of enterprises and organizations.
The subbotnik in the Tolochinsky district is proceeding productively. Order is being established throughout the city and in rural settlements – streets, yards, cultural facilities, military burial sites, and the territories of organizations and institutions are being cleaned. Labor collectives, schoolchildren, and city residents are actively working.
Representatives of labor collectives, led by the district leadership, came out to clean the streets and improve the territories in Miory. In total, over 5,000 people are working at the subbotnik in the district.
The Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee worked at the republican subbotnik at the construction site of the new surgical building of the regional clinical hospital.
In Lepel district, the territory of the city and Komsomolsky parks, as well as the embankment of Lake Lepel, became the location for cleanup efforts. Employees of the district executive committee, the education system, and other active residents of Lepel are working here.
Sharkovshchina district joined the republican субботник (volunteer work day). Employees of all enterprises and organizations are working at various sites. The district executive committee's active members, together with the Iodsky rural council, employees of organizations and institutions located within its territory, and the student youth, are improving the agro-town of Iody.

The active members of the Rossony District Executive Committee are improving the territory of the Museum of Combat Comradeship, the opening of which is planned for May.
The staff of the administration of the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk, under the leadership of the head of administration Yevgeny Semenychev, together with the TSSON (Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population) of the district, are participating in the republican субботник (volunteer work day) and are working on the improvement of the territory of the bath and health complex on Voinev-Internatsionalistov Street.
The leadership of Beshenkovichi District is working in the Komsomoltsy Park on territory planning.
The collectives of the Dokshitsy District Executive Committee and the District Council of Deputies are tidying up the "Khodorovka" memorial complex.
As part of the republican subbotnik, led by the Chairman of the Senno District Executive Committee Oleg Makarevich and the Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Mikhail Vilyugo, structural divisions of the district executive committee are improving the territory of the Park of the 40th Anniversary of Victory.
Employees of the Verkhnedvinsk District Executive Committee, the Departments for Labor, Employment and Social Protection, and for Agriculture and Food, the Financial Department, the Design Bureau, and the Central Regional Hospital are tidying up the city square.
The collective of the administration of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk, under the leadership of the head of administration Alexander Sysoev, together with representatives of the labor collectives of OJSC "Dolomit", Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 10", Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 19", are tidying up the Rubа microdistrict.
Employees of the Vitebsk Culture Center enthusiastically participated in the republican subbotnik (voluntary work day). They carried out cleaning in the branches of the institution, improved the adjacent territories, and also tidied up the graves of colleagues. In the park named after the Soviet Army, servicemen of the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade joined the employees in maintaining cleanliness.
The funds earned on the day of the subbotnik, including at workplaces, will go towards the construction of the National Historical Museum of Belarus.
As reported earlier, on February 5, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 50, which provides for the construction of the National Historical Museum of Belarus and the Park of National Unity in Minsk in the Orlovskaya Street area in 2025-2027, and the creation of a permanent museum exhibition. The museum has been granted the status of an All-Belarusian Youth Construction Project, in which young people under 31 years of age can participate, including as part of student teams. The new building is designed in the shape of the map of Belarus.
