The coolest holiday! The regional Christmas tree in Vitebsk gathered 950 children from all over the region
In Vitebsk, as part of the New Year's charity event "Our Children," a regional New Year's celebration for schoolchildren from all over the region is being held.
Top students, cadets, winners of olympiads, creative contests, and sports competitions, children from large and foster families have arrived for the large-scale celebration in the northern capital. Boys and girls aged 8 to 14 were delighted to immerse themselves in a fairy tale and dive into the exciting events of the interactive musical "Kaleidoscope of Imagination." In addition, game and New Year's areas, photo zones, entertainment locations, and a variety of master classes were organized for the children.
The participants of the celebration were greeted by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin. He emphasized the importance of the pre-holiday days, filled with special meaning and kindness. An inspiring atmosphere reigned in the concert hall, where about a thousand children gathered. Many of the children have achieved significant success in the olympiad movement, sports, or public life.
– These events are created so that you believe in miracles and kindness. Even snow fell on this magical day, – said Alexander Subbotin. – Everyone in this hall is waiting for something special from the holiday.
He thanked the children for being winners, noting that their achievements are a sign that the new generation is capable of much. The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee is convinced that adults, observing the young talents, look to the future with hope, without fear of the unknown.
Finally, Alexander Subbotin wished the children more victories in the coming year and that happiness and well-being would reign in their homes.
Elizaveta Zagorelskaya, a student from Secondary School No. 8 in Orsha, is attending such an event for the first time.
– The coolest holiday! I am delighted with the number of interesting activities prepared for us, thank you to the organizers. I took part in interactive games. I am eagerly awaiting the musical "Kaleidoscope of Imagination" and I am sure it will leave unforgettable memories in my heart that will warm my soul long after the holiday ends.

It is precisely such moments that are lacking in everyday life: they seem to create New Year's magic that will remain in our hearts for a long time.
Today's morning for Alexander Undrul from Vidzy Secondary School of Braslav District started very early, but this did not affect the young man's festive mood at all.
– This is my first experience participating in the regional New Year's celebration, and I am simply delighted! – shared the excellent student with sincere joy. – Everything around is sparkling and shining: bright lights, festive decorations, joyful faces of peers. Music, laughter, and fun. Every moment reminds us of the magic of this time of year.
Among those who were lucky enough to come to Vitebsk for the regional holiday is Ulyana Gruntova from the Vitebsk Cadet School.
