The series of field meetings of the standing commissions of the parliamentary corps of the Vitebsk region on social issues continues
Currently, a seminar for the parliamentary corps of the Vitebsk region on the topic "Social State – Belarusian Model of Well-being" is being held at the "Shumilino Central District Hospital" medical institution.
The key theme of the current seminar-meeting is dedicated to the results of the "Our Children" and "From the Whole Heart" charity events. Initiated by the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko, these events have been helping children and the older generation feel care, attention, and the approach of a real holiday for many years.
Gleb Lapitsky, a member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and General Director of the "Vitebsk Cultural Center" state institution, addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech:
– We need such seminars to absorb information from the top officials, from the leaders who oversee our social sphere. Because the social state is the brand of the Republic of Belarus that can overcome any criticism and negativity that we sometimes encounter both during personal receptions of citizens and during election campaigns.
And in order to be well-informed, we need to see for ourselves how the heads of structural divisions work on the ground, and know about the problems firsthand.
The second point is that local deputies should know each other better, so such meetings are a good idea and practice.
