A symbol of unity and patriotism. A car rally took place on the streets of Vitebsk
A forum of patriotic forces "Time Chose Us. Time for New Victories" is being held in Vitebsk. As part of it, a motor rally took place along the streets of the regional center. About 30 car and motorcycle enthusiasts from the northern region took part in it.
The participants of the motor rally started from the Flag and Emblem Square. Then they drove through three districts of the regional center. At the site of the cultural and sports complex of the Summer Amphitheater, the cars lined up in the number 17 in honor of today's date, which looked very impressive.
- The Day of National Unity is a holiday born of time. For me, it is a day of pride for our Belarusian people, for Belarus. It is a day of remembrance of our historical past, which is important to recall. It is a day when we talk about the achievements and victories of sovereign modern Belarus, - emphasized Vladimir Babichev, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Public Association "Patriots of Belarus".
– The motor rally is not just an event, but a powerful symbol of unity and patriotism, – noted Maria Golikova-Gribanova, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Public Association "Patriots of Belarus". – It reminds us that, despite our differences, we remain one people. For example, in 2021, the "Symbol of Unity" motor rally united thousands of people and covered 118 district centers in 12 days. This demonstrates how important it is for people to feel a connection with history and with each other. Motor rallies on the Day of National Unity are not just a beautiful tradition, but a tool for strengthening national spirit and patriotism. They remind us that unity is the foundation of our country's future.
- With today's motor rally, we are showing that we are proud of our Motherland, of the state symbols, - noted Alexander Bogomol'tsev, Associate Professor at the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine. - On this day, Western and Eastern Belarus united. It is important not to forget the past.
