The Union State strategy is being laid at the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival
Journalists, bloggers, political scientists, experts, artists, athletes, deputies, and students from 14 countries, including Russia, Belarus, the USA, France, Ukraine, and others, took part in the event.
– Yesterday, at the opening of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that the front of the hybrid war runs through the consciousness of every person. Everything else – economic prosperity, defense capability, and life in general – depends on how our younger generation is raised, what values people hold, their aspirations, and motives. Now we are transitioning to a new global economic and technological order, where scientific and technological progress plays a huge leading role in economic development, and the main value is human intelligence, not artificial intelligence, – noted the State Secretary of the Union State, co-chairman of the International "Club of People's Unity" Sergey Glazyev. – As for artificial intelligence, Alexander Lukashenko emphasized yesterday that it will never be able to replace individual intelligence. However, the future of our Union State is determined by how it is formed. Therefore, we will discuss the strategy for forming the information space of the Union State.
In total, four discussions were held within the framework of the conference, during which integration in the cultural and information field, the creation of infrastructure for a unified media space of the Union State, creativity, digitalization, and new formats of interaction with the audience in the sphere of preserving and promoting common historical and cultural heritage, and other important topics were discussed.
Based on the results of the conference, participants will present specific proposals and initiatives on the topics and outline the next steps that will be included in the final resolution of the meeting.
