Strengthening discipline and labor protection: an important issue is being considered at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee
- The Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 1 was adopted among the first, and this emphasizes its importance for our society. How are we implementing it, what are the problematic issues? This agenda is relevant, and it is systematically considered at narrow meetings, at meetings of the regional executive committee, emphasized the chairman of the regional executive committee Alexander Subbotin.
The main task is to eliminate the conditions that cause violations. This was stated by the chairman of the Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Boris Efremov.
– Based on the results of 9 months, it can be concluded that the indicator of total deaths from controllable external causes remains at the level of the same period last year. There is a decrease in such types as suicides and alcohol poisoning. 26 mobile groups visited about 1100 organizations of various forms of ownership over 9 months – agro-industrial complex, industry, construction. About 10,000 remarks were made. It should be noted that about 78% of them are eliminated within 1-2 weeks. We revisited about 200 enterprises where there are problems with eliminating remarks in order to take more radical measures, ranging from administrative responsibility to fines. The main task is to eliminate the conditions that cause violations, so that citizens of the Vitebsk region and labor collectives return home healthy after work. In general, the situation in the areas under consideration, meaning deaths from external causes, is controllable. I am confident that we will complete the current year with quite good figures, in any case, not higher than last year's level.
