The 'Cherry Festival' has started in Glubokoye
Life has shown that one day is not enough for such an event. Therefore, this year it began on the eve of the weekend. The start was given by a youth forum, which was attended by representatives of the younger generation from eight districts of the region. And the first topic for discussion was "The Significance of the Festival Movement in Promoting Brands, Establishing Partnerships, and Preserving Cultural Traditions."
The youth planted a cherry orchard on the territory of the Cherry Queen's residence and became the first visitors to the exhibition "Traditions and Culture of Japan," which was opened in the exhibition hall of the historical and ethnographic museum. The "Cherry Queen" herself received guests at her residence, where she answered questions from curious visitors about the history of the festival, its traditions, what surprises she had in store this time, and invited them to get acquainted with the works of local artisans at an exhibition held in her estate. Meanwhile, the artisans themselves, not only from Glubokoye, who are engaged in wickerwork, gathered for an open-air painting session.
Children are having fun on numerous attractions, and young people are gladly participating in a quest and playing beach volleyball. In the evening, lovers of ethno-parties will gather on the central square of the city, which will smoothly transition into a Hit Parade Disco and a fire show.
Tomorrow, the festival will sparkle with new colors, and the organizers of the celebration promise that every participant will find an activity or entertainment to their liking.
