An open dialogue between young specialists of the agro-industrial complex and the leadership of the Vitebsk region and the Orsha district was held in Orsha

В Орше состоялся открытый диалог молодых специалистов АПК с руководством Витебской области и Оршанского района

What are the prospects and opportunities for young specialists in the agro-industrial complex (AIC)? How to gain authority among senior colleagues? How broad are the career growth opportunities? These and other questions were discussed during an open dialogue as part of the 1st stage of the regional forum for young AIC specialists.

The speakers included Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Vladimir Yurgevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Sergey Levkovich, Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz, as well as heads of structural divisions of the regional executive committee, the industry trade union, and the regional branch of ASB "Belarusbank".

– It is no coincidence that the forum started on the eve of the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers. It is important to show and talk about the significance of professions in the AIC. The Head of our state, when presenting state awards to its best representatives, emphasized that this industry receives special attention, – stressed Vladimir Yurgevich. – It is truly heroic. Food security is a priority of state policy. Today, the issue of retaining young personnel in agriculture and creating appropriate conditions for this is acute. It is important that, as they take their first steps in their profession, young specialists feel the care and support of the state at every stage and replicate the advanced experience gained in their workplaces.

Sergey Levkovich noted that the main task of the event is to strengthen the personnel potential of the Vitebsk region in the AIC.
– And this primarily concerns young specialists. It is necessary to do everything possible to ensure that they continue to work in agriculture, gain experience, and implement new ideas. This is large-scale work, and it will be continued and systematized. We must not lose a single specialist, – said the first deputy chairman.
