A new dairy farm complex has been opened in the Verkhnedvinsk district
Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin took part in the grand opening of the new dairy complex of KUPShP "Kohanovichi" in the Verkhnedvinsk district.
The dairy complex is designed to house 2,200 head of cattle, of which 786 are dairy cows. The construction cost of the facility is about 35 million rubles. The project was implemented through credit resources of OJSC "Belagroprombank" and funds of OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Dairy and Cheese Factory" with subsequent transfer of the complex to the agricultural enterprise.
The complex, with a total area of over 34 thousand square meters, includes 6 main buildings, including 2 cow barns, a milking and milk processing unit, a maternity ward with a section for dry cows, a shed for a prophylactic unit, 12 silage trenches, as well as an administrative and amenity complex.
– For the third year, the strategy for the development of the Vitebsk region has been consistently implemented, – noted Alexander Subbotin. – In 2023, we started working on this facility to achieve worthy results. And now, on the eve of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, we are putting it into operation. More than 2,000 animals will be kept here. The complex is built with the latest scientific advancements, and it has everything necessary. All that remains is to follow the technology and achieve good results. These are the first fruits of our strategy implementation.
