In Vitebsk, laureates of the regional stage of the XVII Republican competition "Woman of the Year 2024" were honored
The best of the best were determined in seven nominations – "Successful Leader", "Active Civic Stance", "Heart Given to People", "Maternal Glory", "Mistress of the Village", "Veterans Young at Heart", "Spirituality and Culture". They, as well as all the women of the Vitebsk region in their person, were warmly congratulated by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.
- Woman is a high title in itself, - noted Alexander Mikhailovich. - You inspire us, everything is done for you, all actions are performed for you and in spite of you. I want to say a big thank you to you, because, in addition to inspiration and spiritual support for men, you simultaneously take many things, practically unsolvable, onto your fragile shoulders. You take care of the home, manage the household, look after the children. I bow low to you from all the male population of the Vitebsk region, thank you very much for always being there and giving men a ray of hope in the most hopeless situation. May God grant you love, health, and may everything turn out well for you!

In each nomination, 6 women became winners. Seven of them - Rector of the State Educational Institution "Vitebsk Regional Institute for the Development of Adult Education" Olga Lapatinskaya, Chief Specialist of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Natalia Neusheva, obstetrician-gynecologist, Head of the branch of the Women's Consultation No. 3 of the Healthcare Institution "Vitebsk Regional Clinical Maternity Hospital" Oksana Starantsova, Deputy Director for Educational Work of the State Educational Institution "Children's Home of the City of Vitebsk" Elena Pushkareva, Director of OJSC "Zolotaya Podkova" Valentina Krivenok, labor veteran Taisa Murashkevich, Head of the Department of Student Creativity and Cultural and Leisure Activities Olga Lesnaya will represent our region in Minsk at the summing up of the republican competition.
