An exhibition of decorative and applied arts and technical creativity of students and teachers has opened in Vitebsk
- This is probably the best career guidance event, - noted Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. - Here, there is an opportunity to examine in detail the art objects that are created with their own hands by both teachers and students. The exhibition exhibits make a great impression. We have created an excellent base for technical creativity, and we have teachers who share their enthusiasm with students.
Elena Shishkina, Head of the Main Department for Methodological Support of the Vitebsk Regional Center for Professional Education Development, reported that such an exhibition has been held in Vitebsk for over three decades. Moreover, our region has repeatedly become the leader in the number of diplomas at the republican stage.
This year, the exhibition features 1000 exhibits created in various genres and techniques. Many works reflect the themes of the Year of Improvement and the 80th Anniversary of Victory. One of the brightest and largest expositions was prepared by the Vitebsk State College of Light Industry and Technology.
- The exhibits were created by graduating students under the guidance of teachers, - Elena Kuchinskaya, director of the educational institution, told "VV". - Some of them are diploma works of graduates. Our college trains fashion designers and constructors. Preparation for the exhibition helps students become more highly qualified specialists.
As emphasized by Dmitry Khoma, Head of the Main Department for Education of the Regional Executive Committee, groups of high school students will regularly visit the exhibition. An excursion program has been prepared for them.
