The spring conscription campaign has started in the Vitebsk region
Addressing the young men, the Military Commissar of the Vitebsk Region, Colonel Sergey Kunakhovets, noted that the recruits will serve in a renowned unit, which is the pride of our region.
– Military service is by definition not easy, and you need to be prepared for this. But after completing your service, you will gain reliable and loyal friends, – assured the military commissar. – You are going to the army from a symbolic place in the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory over the fascist invaders. The memory of this day will last a lifetime. Fulfill your duties with honor and dignity.
The Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Vyacheslav Durnov, reminded that the army serves as a guarantee of national security and stable development of the country:
– You have the task of keeping your powder dry. You bear a great responsibility – to defend our Motherland, – emphasized Vyacheslav Durnov. – I am confident that you will honestly fulfill your civic duty, and army service will be a good start in your life path.
Irina Khoteikina spoke on behalf of the parents, wishing the guys strong army friendship and reminding them that their families and loved ones are proud of them and are waiting for them at home. By the way, Irina Khoteikina's son, Ilya Simporokhov, trained as a master of forestry at the Vitebsk Technological College, joined the army with great enthusiasm, and plans to continue his service under contract.
