The Vitebsk region is launching the regional review-competition of youth initiatives "Design the Future - 2026"

The Vitebsk Regional Association of Local Councils of Deputies announces the regional review-competition of youth initiatives "Design the Future - 2026".

Competition Goal

The competition is aimed at creating conditions to support the active participation of young citizens in socio-economic and socio-political processes, the formation and implementation of state youth policy, and promoting the development of local self-government.

Who can participate?

Citizens of the Republic of Belarus aged up to 31 years, registered and residing in the Vitebsk region, are invited to participate.

The competition is held in the following areas:

- development of a settlement's image
- landscape
- architecture
- creativity
- sports
- youth
- social activity and volunteering

Project Requirements

Participants present innovative projects (initiatives) aimed at improving the quality of life in settlements of the Vitebsk region.

The project portfolio should include:

• Brief abstract (main goal, objectives, relevance, target group, planned results)
• Project cost estimate
• Intended recipient of funds (executor) for the initiative implementation
• Estimated implementation period
• Initiative implementation plan

Competition Dates

June 1 - July 31, 2026 — application submission (inclusive)
August 1 – August 31, 2026 — open competitive selection

Financial Support

The three best projects will receive funding from the Vitebsk Regional Association of Local Councils of Deputies.
The maximum funding amount for one project is 10,000 Belarusian rubles.

Evaluation Criteria

• Relevance of the declared topic and practical significance of the work
• Novelty of ideas, modern innovative approaches
• Clarity and logical consistency of goals and objectives
• Expected social and economic impact
• Accessibility of results to the public
• Thoughtfulness of the sequence of actions
• Probability of successful project implementation

Projects can be accompanied by demonstration materials (presentation, video, model, samples, etc.).
