A sea of flowers and positivity, pleasant excitement on the eve of the new academic year: on Knowledge Day, Gymnasium No. 2 of Vitebsk warmly welcomed children and adults. Eleventh-graders escorted the little ones, who from that day became schoolchildren, under the roof of their alma mater.
– The state is doing a lot to ensure the educational process: new educational facilities are being built, the material and technical base is being strengthened, and comfortable conditions are being created for children and teachers. It is with a sense of special pride that I visit Gymnasium No. 2 of Vitebsk today, which is rightfully considered the best educational institution not only in the region but also in the entire country. True patriots of Belarus, intelligent, erudite, and educated individuals are raised here, – emphasized Vladimir Yurghevich.
– We have 1175 students. We have seriously prepared for the new academic year, strengthened the material and technical base, and are starting work with enthusiasm, and the children – with great desire to learn and continue to achieve high results, which are rightfully the best in the country. This academic year, the teaching staff has been supplemented by a young specialist – a primary school teacher. And in a few years, we expect several of our graduates, who have been given targeted assignments, to join us, – noted the director of Gymnasium No. 2 of Vitebsk, Konstantin Kiselev.
A distinguished educator of the Republic of Belarus, laureate of the honorary title "Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region," he has headed the educational institution for 17 years.
