An extraordinary conference of the regional branch of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus" was held in Vitebsk

The V extraordinary conference of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus" was held at the Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Rogozhnik; the Chairman of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus", member of the Presidium of the Supreme Political Council of the "Belaya Rus" Party Olga Chemodanova; the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, member of the Supreme Political Council of the "Belaya Rus" Party Dmitry Demidov; the Chairman of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus", Rector of VSU named after P. Masherov, member of the Supreme Political Council of the "Belaya Rus" Party Valentina Bogatyreva.

The hall was attended by heads of leading enterprises and organizations, public associations and political parties of the Vitebsk region.

Before the congress, which will be held on April 25 in Minsk, all regional branches of the party, including the city of Minsk, are holding reporting and election conferences. This is an opportunity for party members to gather on one platform to discuss what has been accomplished within the framework of activities in the past year and in the 1st quarter of 2026, to outline prospects and discuss them.

– I would like to note that the mechanism for the successful development of the country in the face of modern challenges and threats is, first and foremost, joint efforts of party members and civil society. I mean not only state bodies, but also an individual person, – Olga Chemodanova noted before the conference. – Therefore, I would like such a message to become the common thread of every conference in the regions.

Olga Chemodanova emphasized that the party's strategic resource is adherence to its course, including 7 priority areas that formed the basis of the country's socio-economic development program until 2030 and were adopted at the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, compliance with the constitutional order, and preservation of not only the sovereignty and independence of our country, but also the identity and national code of Belarusians.

Valentina Bogatyreva delivered a report on the priority areas of activity of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus". The work during the reporting period, noted the chairman of the Vitebsk regional branch of the party, was fruitful and interesting, many serious projects have been launched, such as "Modern World Order", the project of the party's youth movement "Iskra", dedicated to the Year of Belarusian Women, and others. And they will be continued.

– Why is this important? Why do we place a high stake on youth? Because today there is a great task of continuing the idea of political education for the people. And who should be engaged in this education, if not the youth, for whom the future lies, – believes the leader of the regional branch of the party. – Therefore, we hold a lot of events, including party schools and separate courses for training experts from among new faces, including our modern youth.

The conference emphasized the activities of the youth wing of the party "Iskra", heard projects and plans concerning, among other things, the internship of young party members in public administration bodies.

– When it came to internships in government bodies, there is no main point the President talks about. It's about internships in the industrial sector of our country, from agriculture to industrial enterprises and so on, – Alexander Rogozhnik noted during the discussion. – In my view, a party member should understand what any industry is, because not understanding it means communicating with people aimlessly. A person should be holistic in everything. A proposal for the future: along with internships in government bodies, add the industrial sector, across the entire nomenclature.

In the short time of its existence by historical standards, the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus" has become one of the most significant political forces in the civic and political field of our country, believes Dmitry Demidov. The Party unites true patriots, people ready for creative work for the benefit of the country, the implementation of projects aimed at preserving historical memory, educating the younger generation in the spirit of devotion to the values on which our Belarusian people are based, and practically proving their love for their small homeland.

– Confirmation of true patriotism is that in a short period, the Vitebsk branch of the party has implemented many projects aimed at improving life in the regions, uniting people ready to work for the benefit of our country into a single core, – believes Dmitry Demidov. – Our branch has something to report to the upcoming congress.

Having heard the report, the conference recognized the work of the Vitebsk regional branch of the party as satisfactory. Priority areas for party building for 2026 have been identified: strengthening the organizational foundations of the party, developing personnel potential, improving the system of civic-patriotic education, expanding the public influence of the party through dialogue platforms and interaction with labor collectives, as well as strengthening the party's role in shaping a constructive socio-political environment in the region. The governing bodies of the regional branch of the party were approved, and delegates to the upcoming congress were elected.

In a solemn atmosphere, letters of gratitude and certificates of honor were presented to activists of district branches, representatives of enterprises and organizations, and new members were admitted to the party.
