Nikolai Sherstnev approved the appointment of the Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, and the directors of organizations in the agro-industrial complex and education sectors

Minimum costs, maximum profit. This message was addressed by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, to new appointees and the current management corps at a personnel meeting.

Among the managers invited for appointment approval, particular attention and interest were directed towards the newDeputy Chairman - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Vladimir Matveev. The holder of this management portfolio has progressed from a locksmith to a farm manager. He is well-acquainted with the organization of work in the agro-industrial complex. Vladimir Matveev agrees with the position of the regional executive committee leadership: the district's agriculture should become a benchmark in the country. The manager knows that active efforts are currently underway to find opportunities and directions for the development and reorganization of farms. The course is set for the implementation of highly efficient technologies in crop production and animal husbandry, improving farming practices, and reducing production costs. This requires highly qualified personnel focused on results. The manager relies on them to increase the productivity of agricultural enterprises. Each person performs a unique role in the team, meaning their individual "string" needs to be identified and tuned before the "instrument" can play – this is the manager's main strategy. It is important to establish the production process so that everyone feels responsible for their area to the entire team. To achieve this, decision-making corridors should be used effectively.

Thenew head of OJSC "Voropaevo Woodworking Plant" in Postavy District, Yuri Balay, is focused on increasing production volumes at the enterprise. His professional biography is closely linked to this plant. The organization has accumulated a package of orders. The plant has long established itself as a reliable participant in the international market. Strategic buyers such as Russia and Estonia are within the scope of competitive visibility. However, integration into other international production and sales chains should not be overlooked.

The management of OAO "Pridubrovenskoye" is entrusted to Leonid Zaitsev. Soil cultivation in one pass of equipment is one of the most important elements in work. In practice, it turns out that 4-5 such operations lead to inefficient use of human and material resources. If everything is done correctly, fuel consumption can be reduced significantly, as well as the mechanical impact on the soil by the tractor's running gear, believes the head of the region. At the same time, the director is instructed to pay special attention to the technological adjustments of units that have their own design features. After all, even such nuances ultimately shape the enterprise's economy.

A new face in the "Vymno" branch of OAO "Moloko" of Vitebsk city is Vitaly Vorobyov, who previously worked as the chief agronomist in the "Poludetki" branch. The young manager sees the development of the enterprise entrusted to him through increasing gross milk production and crop production, reducing costs, and bringing unused land into circulation. Along with this, it is important to create a solid foundation for the future harvest. After all, for example, in Scandinavian countries, where climatic conditions are much harsher than ours and there are few fertile lands, they still manage to achieve high grain yields. How to achieve this? The answer lies in the leader and his team, is confident the chairman of the regional executive committee. There is also a lack of technological sophistication. Many, unfortunately, follow the beaten path, and this is a sure way to stagnation. Any oversight can have serious consequences, primarily financial. After all, the land tests everyone's capabilities. It will take all your attention, but it will also give more if you treat it with care.

Organizing the activities of the Industrial-Pedagogical College of Vitebsk State Technological University as a well-oiled mechanism has been entrusted to the new director Svetlana Lapukhina, who previously held the position of deputy. The institution is a forge of future technicians-technologists, vocational training masters,

fashion designers. The head admits: among the students there are many ambitious, goal-oriented individuals on whom great hopes are placed. Svetlana Leonidovna assures: all graduates are in demand and are primarily employed in the non-budgetary sphere of activity. What prevents opening one's own business immediately after graduating from college? The toolkit is broad – the state has created conditions for this. Hence the fair practice-oriented recommendation of Nikolai Sherstnev: to conduct classes in the final phase of training aimed at developing private initiative and stimulating business activity. In this matter, it is important to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit in future businessmen. One of the steps in this direction, according to the conviction of the chairman of the economic committee of the regional executive committee, Anzhelika Nikitina, is the format of round tables with the support of the small business incubator – a kind of "greenhouse" where businesses are effectively launched and beginners are provided with all possible support, including the provision of premises for startups. The outcome for each student should be a complete puzzle: a "portrait" of their business.

For the heads of OJSC "Ladosno" of Lepel district, Alexander Lyakh, and SUP "Sovkhoz imeni Masherova" of Senno district, Sergey Lityago, whose contract extensions have been approved, many production issues are like an equation with unknowns. Trying to solve the digital matrix, for example, in the form of increasing crop yields per hectare of arable land, it is important to act consistently. At the same time, without ignoring the main essence of the farms – making a profit.

Noting the positive dynamics of OJSC "Dubrovensky Rayagriservice", Nikolai Sherstnev signed a contract extension for director Dmitry Timoshenko. In addition to providing traditional services to farms in conducting

agricultural work and repair of agricultural machinery, the company successfully implements new directions in its activities.

The extension of the contract for the General Director of OJSC "Vitebskdrev" Yuri Doylin has also been approved.
