The new Assistant to the President of Belarus - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Alexander Subbotin, was introduced to the active members of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Alexander Subbotin noted that the main wealth of the region is its residents. "Hardworking people live in the region, who can achieve everything and do a lot if they are provided with optimal working conditions. This is what we need to focus on - giving specialists, professionals, and workers in all spheres the opportunity to work effectively," the President's Assistant is convinced. He also noted that he does not divide the issues he has to solve into less and more important ones. "Everything is important - both the social sphere, and industry, and agriculture," said Alexander Subbotin.
The new inspector for the Vitebsk region was introduced by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, by order of the Presidential Administration. The head of the region emphasized that one of the main missions of the President's Assistant in the region is to control the execution of the head of state's instructions. Nikolai Sherstnev counts on effective joint work to solve problematic issues, of which there are many in the region. "You were born and raised here, you worked here, so you know the situation," he added.
Alexander Subbotin, in turn, noted that even during the few years he worked in the capital, he did not lose touch with Vitebsk. "I came on weekends. My family lives here. The region is truly dear to me. And I would like to help in its development. It is easier to do this through joint efforts," he said.
Previously, Alexander Subbotin held the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food - Director of the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision. He succeeded Alexander Poznyak as Presidential Aide - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, who is now heading the Orsha District as Chairman of the District Executive Committee.
