The Novopolotsk land hosted the best state prosecutors

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus, based at the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, held a republican educational and practical seminar.

The topic was the issues of the prosecutor's offices exercising the function of supporting the state prosecution and improving the effectiveness of prosecutorial supervision over the legality of court decisions in criminal cases.

Representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus, heads of regional prosecutor's offices and the city of Minsk, representatives of the judicial corps of the region, as well as prosecutors from departments supervising the legality of court decisions in criminal cases took part in the seminar.

The purpose of the seminar was to improve the level of professional knowledge of prosecutors supporting the state prosecution in court, to improve supervision over the legality of court decisions in criminal cases, as well as to exchange experience in organizing work and law enforcement.

The target audience and topics of the seminar were chosen based on the most pressing issues in the specified area of supervision and the changes occurring in the legislation of the criminal law sphere.

Opening the educational forum, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Konyuk, thanked those present for their work, while presenting a collection of speeches by state prosecutors and expressing confidence in the further development of scientific and practical work in the entrusted department.

It was noted that the event, as planned, was held in a dialogue format, with lively discussions on some issues. In addition to discussing pressing issues and controversial points in law enforcement practice, the best prosecutors were awarded. The key moment of the republican seminar was the intellectual legal game "Brain Ring" among teams of prosecutors from the regions and the city of Minsk. In a fierce competition, the team of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office took first place.

The seminar was held in a sufficiently interesting way in terms of its multifaceted nature and the opportunity to apply the information received in practice.
