A New Chapter in Life. A solemn meeting was held at the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office on the occasion of the retirement of Pyotr Dedyuro, Deputy Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor.

On the eve of the New Year 2021, the staff of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office saw off the Deputy Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor, Senior Justice Counselor Petr Vasilievich Dedyuro, into well-deserved retirement.

Petr Vasilievich began his career in the prosecutor's office in April 1983. He worked as an assistant prosecutor of the Dubrovno District, senior assistant prosecutor of the Oktyabrsky District of Vitebsk, prosecutor of the General Supervision Department of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, Lepel Inter-district Prosecutor, and headed the Orsha Transport Prosecutor's Office for almost 20 years. After the liquidation of the Orsha Transport Prosecutor's Office, he worked as the Deputy Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor.

Possessing the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical experience for carrying out prosecutorial activities, Petr Vasilievich worthily fulfilled his official duty. In resolving official issues, he showed due demandingness and principledness. He is distinguished by integrity, objectivity, and a benevolent attitude towards people. He always strove to pass on his accumulated experience to the younger generation of prosecutors and enjoyed well-deserved respect and authority among colleagues and employees of other law enforcement agencies.

Professionalism and conscientious attitude towards the performance of official duties did not go unnoticed by the Prosecutor General of the USSR, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Transport Prosecutor, and the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region.

Seeing him off into retirement, Deputy Regional Prosecutor Georgy Korenko expressed words of gratitude to Petr Vasilievich for his many years of work and conscientious attitude towards the performance of official duties, presenting him with an Honorary Certificate of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus.

Petr Vasilievich warmly recalled his mentors and also thanked his colleagues for their joint conscientious work in strengthening legality and law and order, and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.

With his retirement, a new stage of Petr Vasilievich's life will begin. We wish him that this period will be filled only with positive emotions and joyful events.
