The new "academic year" in the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office began with a training and methodological seminar for drivers of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office bodies.

Employees of the regional prosecutor's office, representatives of the traffic police of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate, Belgosstrakh, and drivers of the regional prosecutor's office took part in the seminar.

The seminar participants discussed new traffic rules, common traffic violations, the algorithm of actions and the procedure for documenting compensation for damages resulting from traffic accidents, the service life of state property and the procedure for its write-off, and safety precautions. A review of vehicles, their completeness, and internal order was conducted.

The seminar participants noted that such events are useful for employees of the prosecutor's offices, despite the fact that most of them already have extensive driving experience and practical skills. Time does not stand still, and the fleet of service vehicles of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office is constantly being updated with newer and more modern models. Thus, at the collegium of the regional prosecutor's office on January 23, 2017, the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region, V.V. Sushchinsky, handed over the keys to a new service vehicle, a Volkswagen Polo, to the Prosecutor of the Braslav District, Yu.S. Kezik.

The high professionalism and responsibility of the employees do not go unnoticed by the leadership of the regional prosecutor's office.

By order of the Regional Prosecutor dated January 20, 2017, for conscientious performance of official duties, high work results, efficiency, organization, observance of labor and official discipline, and professionalism, S.V. Ryabtsev, driver of the planning and material and technical support department of the regional prosecutor's office, and D.P. Tishalovich, driver of the Postavy District Prosecutor's Office, were recognized as the best employees of the regional prosecutor's office for 2016 and were entered on the Honor Board of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office with a one-time monetary reward. A one-time monetary reward was paid to N.K. Rabiza, driver of the Sharkovshchinsky District Prosecutor's Office.
