Ensuring legality and law and order at transport facilities: a coordination meeting was held in Vitebsk

A coordination meeting on combating crime and corruption was held under the chairmanship of Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor Konstantin Shiyenko, where issues of preventing crimes and corruption manifestations at transport facilities and the operation of trade facilities of JSC "DORORS" were considered.

Representatives of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Vitebsk and Minsk divisions of Belarusian Railway, and JSC "DORORS" took part in the meeting.

“On November 27, 2023, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 375 ‘On Declaring 2024 the Year of Quality’. This decision was made to further improve the quality of life of the Belarusian people, ensure the competitiveness of the national economy in the global arena, and foster a sense of responsibility for one's work and a sense of belonging to the country's future in society,” noted the Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor.

Director of the structural unit "ORS Orsha Station" of JSC "DORORS" Kovalenko V.A. delivered a report on eliminating the identified violations in the operation of trade facilities.

Based on the results of the meeting, a set of additional organizational and practical measures was developed to improve the effectiveness of entities' work in the specified areas.

Attention was drawn to the need to increase the responsibility of the organization's managers and strengthen the role of departmental control over compliance with legislative requirements.
