Ensuring legality and law and order at transport facilities: a coordination meeting was held in Vitebsk.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Prosecutor of Vitebsk Region Shapovalov D.A., Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the Region for Supervision of Legislation Enforcement in Transport and Customs Bodies Zhurba V.V., representatives of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Vitebsk and Minsk Divisions of Belarusian Railway, Vitebsk Branch of SE "BelaviaNavigatsia", Vitebskvodtrans Branch of UE "Dnieper-Bug Waterway", OJSC "DORORS".
"Maintaining law and order and public safety are priority tasks, especially during the election campaign, requiring comprehensive measures aimed at preventing extremism and destructive manifestations that threaten the life and health of citizens at transport facilities," noted the Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor.
The Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor's Office, as well as other prevention entities, is carrying out targeted work to identify and suppress extremist crimes and offenses, issue official warnings to persons who have been held administratively liable for committing extremist actions, and conduct individual preventive discussions about the inadmissibility of committing destructive actions.
The Head of Vitebskgruzservis of UP "Vitebsk Division of Belarusian Railway" Mashketov I.A. delivered a report on the work of the commission for conducting procurement using own funds, and the Director of the structural unit "ORS Orsha Station" of OJSC "DORORS" Kovalenko V.A. reported on the operation of trade facilities.
Based on the results of the meeting, a set of additional organizational and practical measures was developed to improve the effectiveness of the entities' work in the specified areas.
