An open regional competition of innovative projects (works, events) for financing from the innovation fund of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee in 2021 has been announced

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee announces an open regional competition of innovative projects (works, events) for funding from the innovation fund of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee in 2021.

The open competitive selection and departmental scientific and technical expertise of projects (works, events) funded by the innovation fund of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee are carried out on the basis of the Instructions on the procedure for conducting and using the funds of the innovation fund of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, approved by the decision of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies dated August 23, 2012 No. 203 (hereinafter referred to as the Instructions).

Criteria for selecting projects applying for funding from the innovation fund of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee:

organization of a technological process that ensures an average level of added value per employee, similar to or exceeding the average level of added value per employee for the corresponding type of economic activity in the European Union;
export orientation of the innovative project (export exceeding import);
creation and implementation of new technologies and (or) production of new products for the Republic of Belarus and (or) the global economy.

Participants of the open competitive selection may be:

organizations whose property is in communal ownership, business entities whose shares (stakes in authorized funds) are in communal ownership;
scientific, design, and engineering organizations of the Republic of Belarus, regardless of their subordination;
organizations of the Republic of Belarus without departmental subordination;
other organizations of the Republic of Belarus that are payers of profit tax to local budgets in the Vitebsk region,

To participate in the open competitive selection

in the selection of organizations applying for innovation fund funds, they submit to the city/district executive committees (at the location of the legal entity) or to the executive committees of the regional executive committees by March 31, 2020 the following documents:

an application for participation in an open competitive selection with justification for the need to allocate funds from the innovation fund, and the directions of their use;
a business plan for the project (for innovative projects) or a feasibility study for the work (for research, experimental design, experimental technological work);
documents confirming the novelty of the technology and (or) products for the Republic of Belarus and (or) the global economy;
other documents and materials related to the implementation of projects (works, events).

The executive committees of the regional executive committees and city/district executive committees form consolidated applications for the use of innovation fund funds, compiled in accordance with the directions specified in paragraph 7 of the Instructions, and send them by April 10, 2020 to the economics committee of the regional executive committee for consideration by the commission.
