The regional seminar for ideological workers took place in Lepel district
The event began with a presentation of Lepel region organizations and a press tour of significant sites in the region.
Heads of ideological work and youth affairs departments of city and district executive committees familiarized themselves with the organization of ideological work in the labor collectives of the Lepel district: the repair and mechanical plant, the forestry enterprise, and the local history museum.
Natalia Danilevich, Deputy Director for Ideological Work at the forestry enterprise, shared her work experience and introduced the seminar participants to the woodworking production.
"The forestry enterprise includes 16 structural divisions, including 8 forestries, a logging point, a woodworking shop, a loading area with sections for processing wood chips and chopping firewood, repair and mechanical workshops, a permanent forest nursery, a hunting farm, the 'Kordon Lake Dolgoe' complex, and a pavilion for the sale of timber and sawn products," said Natalia Danilevich. "The forestry enterprise employs 548 people, 459 of whom are in the Lepel district."
Chief editors of district newspapers, as well as heads of regional television and radio programs, visited the "village of the future" - Domzheritsy, the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve, the House of Environmental Education, and the Museum of Nature, which were visited by the President the day before.
According to the residents of the settlement, Domzheritsy has been significantly transformed after the landscaping work, becoming a place of strength and attraction. Repair work has been carried out on all socially significant facilities. The school has opened renovated assembly and sports halls, outdoor exercise equipment has been installed, and the FAP (Feldsher-Accoucheur Point) has been equipped with new dental equipment.
"The created conditions allow for comfortable living, working, and raising children," admitted local residents.
Young specialist Anastasia Bolshakova said that she came to Domzheritsy from Bykhov and is now working as a forest master in the Kraytsevskoye forestry.
- The village has blossomed and come alive over the past two years. It is pleasant to observe the positive changes in Domzheritsy, - the girl noted.
The plenary session summed up the work of the ideological vertical of the region and outlined plans for the future.
The meeting considered work on patriotic education of the population, re-registration of religious communities, and the situation in the information field.
Marina Novitskaya, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, emphasized that strict adherence to legislation and the widespread use of state symbols, as well as actively instilling love for them from an early age, are key aspects of successful patriotic education and ideological work.
Marina Vladimirovna set the task to more actively involve representatives of business, students of secondary vocational and vocational-technical educational institutions in ideological work.
- In the regions, it is important not to chase the quantity of events, but to conduct them qualitatively, so that all participants have pleasant impressions and memories, - noted the head of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the regional executive committee. – For the media, the priority is to increase state content and use multimedia formats on social networks.
The event concluded with a solemn ceremony of awarding ideological workers. Among the awardees were the chief editors of the district newspapers "Lepelsky Krai" and "Patriot", whose editorial offices are celebrating their 95th anniversary this year.
