Corn harvesting continues in the region. As reported by the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Regional Executive Committee, out of 90.2 thousand hectares of corn, 63.9 thousand hectares have been harvested, or 71 percent of the plan. 1 million 250 thousand tons of green mass for silage have been prepared. 21.6 centners of feed units per conventional head of cattle have been prepared. Verkhnedvinsk and Rossonsky districts have completely finished harvesting the queen of the fields.
Agricultural enterprises of the region are carrying out autumn soil cultivation, 30.3 thousand hectares of land have been plowed, or 15 percent of the plan.
