Regional Agricultural Production: In the Vitebsk region, one-third of the planned area has been harvested as of August 11

The average yield in the Vitebsk region is 4.9 c/ha higher than the figure for the same date last year.

 

28.1 thousand hectares of winter rapeseed have been harvested (85.7%). The cruciferous crop gives the highest yield in Vitebsk (20.1 c/ha), Orsha (19.9 c/ha) and Verkhnedvinsk (17.9 c/ha) districts. 3.7 thousand hectares of winter rapeseed have been sown for the 2023 harvest (6.2% of the planned).

Flax has been pulled on 7.7 thousand hectares (64.8%), and flax straw is being harvested.

Fodder harvesting by the second mowing continues. 80 thousand hectares have been mown (80.1%), 14.13 centners of fodder units have been harvested per conventional head of cattle (+0.47 c. units compared to last year's figure).
