Regional Agricultural Products Department: Buckwheat yield doubled in Vitebsk region

Сельхозпредприятия Витебской области убрали гречиху с 64% площадей. Культура собрана на территории 1,6 тыс. га, всего подлежит уборке более 2,4 тыс. га. При этом в прошлом году в регионе было посеяно всего 688 га гречихи. "Это культура неприхотливая, но любящая тепло, потому для нашей области она капризная, с учетом климатических особенностей территории. Погода для роста гречихи минувшим летом стояла хорошая, что позволило улучшить показатели урожайности. Если в прошлом году собирали в среднем 6,2 ц/га, то теперь имеем 13,3 ц/га - более чем в два раза выше", - пояснили в облсельхозпроде, добавив, что посевные площади под культуру планируется наращивать.

Овощи нового урожая в северном регионе заготавливают немного быстрее, чем в 2021 году. Собрано 2058 т на площади 74 га, или 27% к плану. Средняя урожайность составила 278 ц/га. "Моркови убрано 1035 т на 31 га, всего подлежит уборке 110 га. Урожайность овоща - 332 ц/га, - отметили в комитете. - Свеклы собрали 830 т на территории 31 га при плане уборки 48 га, ее урожайность - 268 ц/га. Капусту обычно сельхозпредприятия убирают позже, чтобы максимально растянуть период хранения. На данный момент капуста собрана на 3 га из 89 га".

Кукурузы на силос собрано 24,5 тыс. га, что составляет чуть более четверти плана. Урожайность достигла 240 ц/га, что выше значений прошлого года, когда на аналогичную дату было 222 ц/га.

The average yield was 278 centners per hectare. "1035 tons of carrots have been harvested from 31 hectares, with a total of 110 hectares to be harvested. 24.5 thousand hectares of silage corn have been harvested, which is slightly more than a quarter of the plan. The yield reached 240 centners per hectare, which is higher than last year's values, when it was 222 centners per hectare on the same date.
