Regional Health Department: About Br1.5 million spent on the repair of the clinic in Shumilino
During the preparations for the regional festival-fair of agricultural workers "Dazhynki-2021", a decision was made to carry out renovation works on one of the important social facilities of the urban settlement. Approximately Br1.5 million was allocated for the current renovation, and it was fully utilized.
"The exterior and interior of the polyclinic have been transformed, making it more comfortable for patients and doctors in the updated offices. All the furniture has been replaced. A new, more open reception area has also been introduced. The healthcare institution underwent a major overhaul of two hospital elevators, costing Br186 thousand. A new video surveillance system was installed, and the fire protection system was modernized and fully mounted. To combat the coronavirus infection, the medical oxygen supply system has been repaired, additional stationary oxygen points have been installed, and oxygen humidifiers have been purchased," the regional health department emphasized.
To strengthen the healthcare sector of the Shumilino district, the material and technical base of the CDH has also been replenished: the regional health department acquired two fully equipped ambulances with medical equipment, which are already operating in the region, and a video gastroscope system with an Olimpus GIF-LV1 video gastroscope. For the intensive care unit of the healthcare institution, a medical monitor, infusion syringe pumps, and necessary computer equipment were purchased using local funds. As noted by the regional health department, the commissioning of the renovated polyclinic will significantly improve the quality of medical care provided.
