Regional Health Department: A new magnetic resonance imaging scanner will be commissioned at Polotsk Central City Hospital

On June 30 at 9:00 AM, the Radiology Department of the Polotsk Interdistrict Oncology Dispensary of the State Healthcare Institution "Polotsk Central City Hospital" will commission a magnetic resonance imaging scanner manufactured by Siemens Healthcare GmbH, Germany.

The medical equipment, valued at over 1.5 million rubles, was acquired using funds from the republican budget in accordance with the procurement plans of the Ministry of Health within the framework of implementing Resolution No. 464 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated August 14, 2021, "On approving a set of measures for the development of the Polotsk region until 2025."

The modern magnetic resonance imaging scanner has a high resolution. The informativeness and reliability of the device are close in quality to histological analysis. The new equipment will improve the quality of emergency and planned medical care and diagnostics, and enhance the accessibility of this examination.
