Exchange of experience of veteran organizations

With the aim of exchanging information and work experience of veteran organizations, preserving the continuity of generations of prosecutor's office employees, and developing international cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the Vitebsk region and the Pskov region of the Russian Federation, on October 27, 2018, a meeting of veterans of the prosecutor's offices of the Vitebsk and Pskov regions was held in Velikiye Luki. They exchanged views on providing assistance in the professional development of young prosecutor's office employees and shared memories of their workdays in the prosecutor's office.

During the trip, the veterans also visited the memorial museum-estate of Sofia Kovalevskaya, the local history museum of Velikiye Luki, laid flowers at the grave of Alexander Matrosov and the eternal flame, and familiarized themselves with the sights of Velikiye Luki.

Following this meeting, with the aim of strengthening business cooperation, the veterans decided to hold such meetings regularly, and in 2019, the Vitebsk veterans expect their Pskov colleagues for a return visit to the Vitebsk region. Such meetings will contribute to close cooperation in the professional development of prosecutor's office employees.
