Results of comprehensive inspections by the Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor's Office and the Glubokoye District Prosecutor's Office were discussed

The inspections showed that the mentioned prosecutor's offices are carrying out a significant amount of work to strengthen legality and law and order, and to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens.

Great attention is paid to resolving issues related to the fight against corruption and economic crimes, crime prevention, and increasing the responsibility of officials for the quality performance of their duties.

As a result of the work done, a stable crime situation has generally been maintained in the regions.

At the same time, a number of shortcomings were identified during the inspections, which were pointed out to the prosecutors. It was required to analyze the current crime situation more deeply and to take concrete measures aimed at increasing the effectiveness of prosecutorial supervision in key areas of law enforcement activities. By establishing order in the organization of work, strengthening discipline and responsibility of each employee, it is necessary to ensure proper preventive and proactive supervision in all main areas of prosecutorial activity.

More attention should be paid to the implementation of legislation aimed at the economical spending of material resources, the effective management of financial resources in the implementation of state programs for the development and modernization of production in the real sector of the economy, ensuring payment discipline, and compliance with tax and labor legislation.

It was proposed to improve the quality of prosecutorial supervision over the enforcement of legislation on combating illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their precursors and analogues.
