The first line will update the "breathing system" at JSC "Dolomit" in Vitebsk
Starting April 27, Dolomit OJSC will begin replacing the existing dust collectors at technological line No. 1 of key workshop No. 7. This was announced by the head of the enterprise's construction department, Roman Lyulyuk.
The aspiration equipment from a Russian company began arriving at the enterprise on April 3. The completion of deliveries is planned for the end of the month, with installation scheduled for May. Large-scale assembly of new multicyclone dust collectors for technological line No. 1 has already been completed. Subsequently, they will be replaced on the second line as well. Simultaneously, cyclones for technological line No. 3 are being assembled; the equipment for this line was supplied by a Chinese company last year. Installation is being carried out under the supervision of its specialists.
– Reconstruction work on the third technological line is in full swing. A bucket elevator, hammer crusher, and pulse filter have been installed, a storage bunker has been assembled, and ductwork has been connected. We are continuing the installation of metal structures for two cyclones and the dismantling of damaged slabs with their replacement by metal beams, followed by the installation of concrete flooring, – explained Roman Lyulyuk.
Seventy people and up to 20 units of equipment are involved at the site daily.
– The challenge of working at this site is the high degree of congestion. Builders and installers are working together, and the enterprise's equipment continues to operate nearby simultaneously. Despite this, we expect not only to meet the deadline but to complete the work ahead of schedule, – noted Vyacheslav Alkovich, site manager of the Vitebsk Installation Department branch of Promtekhmontazh OJSC.
Thanks to the energy-efficient equipment, the productivity of the new line will be twice as high with lower electricity consumption.
The key differences lie in the crushing and grinding technology. An additional, second stage of crushing is provided, which will allow for a finer fraction to be obtained at the output.
– In addition to the existing one, another hammer crusher will be operational, – explained Ekaterina Brezgina, a process engineer at Workshop No. 7. – Dolomite will pass through an aspiration and purification system. A bag filter will be used to remove fine dust during crushing, which will make the line highly environmentally friendly.
