The creative family festival "Planet of Childhood" brought together over 120 children from the families of medical workers of the northern region.
– Children's Day is not just a fun holiday and the beginning of summer holidays, but also an important reason for us adults to think about the safety and well-being of the younger generation. The bright festive program at the "Lyalka" theater, in a light, playful way, taught the children vital rules of behavior in everyday life. The trade union always strives to give healthcare families the opportunity to spend time together, recharge with positive energy and optimism, – noted Vladimir Plytkevich, Chairman of the regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers.
The leader of the regional industry trade union emphasized that throughout the year, as well as on the eve of June 1, the regional committee provides gratuitous sponsorship to children's healthcare institutions in the region. The financial funds directed are used to strengthen the material and technical base, purchase necessary equipment, and create comfortable conditions for the treatment and rehabilitation of young patients.
The holiday gifted guests a multitude of vivid emotions. At the theatre entrance, an impressive street performance by stilt walkers in exclusive designer costumes awaited the audience, along with a colorful character – a giant, life-sized dog puppet of the rare Komondor breed. One of the day's main events was an educational interactive masterclass. Under the guidance of stage masters, each child gained access to professional props and had the opportunity to try their hand at being a real puppeteer, lifting the veil on the secrets of theatrical backstage.
A truly delightful experience for the young spectators was the showing of an instructive play. It's a cheerful story about a small and extremely curious puppy named Sonya, who loves to get into adventures. The young audience warned the curious puppy about dangers and, in a playful manner, taught rules for safe behavior at home.
"Planet of Childhood" left an unforgettable impression on the families of medical workers, and the trade union's systematic charitable assistance marked another important step in supporting pediatric healthcare in the northern region.
