Teenager and the Law

Unfortunately, not every teenager realizes that the unlawful acts they commit entail severe and difficult-to-correct consequences.

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, criminal and administrative liability is provided for committing crimes and offenses, respectively.

The list of administrative offenses is enshrined in the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses, and criminal offenses – in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

Part 1 of Art. 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus provides for liability for violation of the established procedure for holding a meeting, rally, street procession, demonstration, picket, or other mass event, committed by a participant of such events, as well as public calls for the organization or holding of a meeting, rally, street procession, demonstration, picket, or other mass event in violation of the established procedure for their organization or holding, committed by a participant of such events or another person, if these acts do not constitute a crime. For committing this offense, administrative penalties may be imposed: a warning or a fine of up to thirty basic units, or administrative arrest.

With regard to parents - Art. 9.4. Code of Administrative Offenses (failure to fulfill parental duties, which led to the child committing an act containing signs of an administrative offense or signs of a criminal offense), Art. 17.13. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (failure to fulfill duties on accompanying or ensuring the accompaniment of a child at night outside the dwelling).
