Positive results do not go unnoticed…

On May 22, 2019, a meeting of the collegium of the regional prosecutor's office summed up the results of a comprehensive inspection of the work organization of the Polotsk District Prosecutor's Office. This inspection showed that thanks to the purposefulness and persistence of the Polotsk District Prosecutor S.A. Troshko, the high organization, coherence, and clarity of the district prosecutor's office team's work made it possible to ensure legality and law and order in the region, and to achieve effective protection of the legal rights and interests of citizens, society, and the state.

Stable high performance indicators have been achieved in supervising the enforcement of legislation on the prevention of crimes and other offenses. Supervision over the enforcement of legislation and the legality of legal acts is carried out effectively and efficiently. The coordinating role of the prosecutor is realized at the proper level, as are measures to coordinate the activities of law enforcement and other state bodies of the region in combating corruption, preventing corrupt practices, and supervising the enforcement of anti-corruption legislation, including in the sphere of public procurement, which has a real positive impact on the state of legality in the region.

The positive results of the work became possible due to the correct organization of work in these areas of prosecutorial activity by the Polotsk District Prosecutor S.A. Troshko, as well as the initiative, conscientiousness, and responsibility in the performance of assigned official duties by the senior assistants to the Polotsk District Prosecutor A.V. Korytko and V.I. Potaneyko.

It is gratifying to note that young employees can also achieve high results in supervisory activities. The service record of A.V. Korytko in the prosecutor's office is just over two years, and V.I. Potaneyko's is almost five years. However, their professionalism can be envied by more experienced colleagues.

In a solemn ceremony, the acting regional prosecutor Igor Korzhov, in the presence of his colleagues, presented letters of gratitude from the regional prosecutor to the Polotsk District Prosecutor for the achieved success and responsible attitude towards the performance of official duties.
