Visit to Correctional Colony No. 13

The Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk region (employees of the Department for Supervision of Compliance with Legislation by Criminal Enforcement and Compulsory Enforcement Bodies) received convicts held at the special regime correctional colony No. 13 of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region, located in Glubokoye.

During the reception, 7 individuals applied with various questions, including disagreement with court decisions in civil and criminal cases, and the application of amnesty acts.

Each applicant received appropriate clarification, taking into account the provisions of the legislation.

After the reception, prosecutors checked compliance with legislative requirements at the correctional institution, studied the living and working conditions of the convicts, and discussed with the management of Correctional Colony No. 13 current issues of convicts serving their sentences, the realization of their rights and legitimate interests, as well as the fulfillment of their duties.
