One of the forms of a unified system for professional development in the prosecutor's office is the conduct of educational and methodological seminars.

In December of the current year, a seminar was held on topical areas of supervisory activities for prosecutors with up to two years of service.

During the seminar, issues were discussed regarding competent work planning, organization of work on considering appeals from citizens and legal entities in the regional prosecutor's office, supervision of legislation enforcement and legality of legal acts, compliance with anti-corruption legislation, and the specifics of the work of the penal system and enforcement bodies were discussed. Issues of the prosecutor's participation in civil and criminal proceedings in courts were also addressed.

Also, Zhanna Danilova, senior lecturer at the Department of Applied Psychology of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, spoke about methods of conflict management and overcoming psychological barriers in communicative behavior. Victoria Gorolevich, assistant prosecutor of Polotsk district, shared her impressions about the beginning of her professional path. Tatyana Lisovskaya, head of the personnel and ideological work department, informed the young employees about the rules of conduct and norms of service ethics for a prosecutor in their professional and off-duty activities.

At the end of the seminar, veterans of the prosecutor's office Filonenko V.N., Bogachev I.N., Dubik R.E., Khodosevich V.V., Statskevich Z.S. shared their memories of their years of service in the prosecutor's office and gave parting words to the young employees.

The results of the seminar were summarized by the Deputy Prosecutor of the region Georgy Korenko, who noted that only through personal responsibility and discipline of each employee, and continuous improvement of their professional level, can the tasks assigned to the prosecutor's office be effectively fulfilled.
