The red thread is the economic analysis of the efficiency of agricultural enterprises' development. This topic is a continuation of the region's head's conversation with agro-managers after a year – the usual period for which their contracts are extended. Both then and now, a control check in the "before and after" projection, covering issues from staffing to technology compliance. The situation in agro-industrial organizations was analyzed in detail with each of those invited to Nikolai Sherstnev's office.
From the very beginning of the conversation, managers are urged to adopt a systematic approach to work, especially in animal husbandry. To generate stable revenue, it is necessary to increase milk production and improve its quality characteristics. It is no coincidence that the head of the region calls this product the locomotive of the agro-economy. Figuratively speaking, milk is on the cow's tongue, so the herd must be properly fed and cared for. This axiom should be elevated to a cult by the "Yanovicha-agro" farm, the management of which has been entrusted to Alexander Shimkovich, Deputy Director of the Postavy Dairy Plant. The manager is advised: for successful farming, nothing supernatural is needed, only a serious attitude towards one's duties and a strong management strategy in all areas. Otherwise, an economic "collapse" is guaranteed. Often, the increase in agricultural production is hindered by rather banal reasons: a shortage of qualified specialists in veterinary services, and a lack of proper control and accounting. The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee is particularly concerned about those farms that experience a decrease in cow productivity precisely during the grazing period – the very time considered the period of "great" milk. Alexander Lyakh, Director of the "Ladosno" agricultural enterprise in the Lepel district, who has undergone the contract extension approval procedure, is tasked with fundamentally changing the situation for the better in the shortest possible time.

Nikolai Sherstnev is convinced: those who are interested in the full return of dairy cattle breeding strive to work for good results. In this regard, the dynamics of the indicators of the "Proshkovo" branch of OJSC "Glubokoe Agroservice" headed by Andrey Yatsyna, whose contract extension has been agreed upon, are obvious. The characteristics of the agricultural sector of the Dokshitsy district are in harmony with this. Its curator - First Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee Nataliya Vorobyova, whose contract extension has also been agreed upon, is assured: there is no reason to rest on their laurels – the peak of the production and economic "iceberg" has not yet been reached.The housing and communal services sector continued the personnel day's agricultural vector. The contract extension for Leonid Lyasovich, Deputy Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services, has been agreed upon for only six months. The explanation for this is simple: in that much time, the manager will reach the age limit for holding public office. The manager is oriented: before handing over the "inheritance" to a successor, it is necessary to catch up on the backlog in the performance of certain indicators in the housing and communal services sector, in particular, the collection of secondary raw materials. The erratic work of the construction industry in the Miory district has also been pointed out. Low rates of residential building construction may lead to their commissioning being disrupted within the established timeframe. There is no system in the construction of agricultural facilities, and in the repurposing and reconstruction of old ones. In the last 15 years alone, there have been only four livestock facilities in the gallery of construction works. This is despite the fact that a number of dairy farms, built decades ago, are obsolete in every sense. "How, with such a situation, can the agro-industrial sector of Mioryshchyna be revived, gross output volumes increased, and ultimately, processing enterprises be supplied with raw materials?" – asks the head of the region a fair question. Nikolai Sherstnev has repeatedly noted, and reiterated this time: it is necessary to create the necessary conditions for the proper maintenance and
for herd preservation. Arch-type structures, herringbone parlors, wooden calf housing – there are many options for quickly, cheaply, and efficiently bringing old facilities into a technological state. The chairman of the regional executive committee urged managers in the construction and agro-industrial complex sectors to take a comprehensive approach to solving these issues. Hence, such increased attention to issues of discipline, order, including within the scope of activity of subordinate specialized organizations. He cites the work of the chairmen of the Tolochin District Executive Committee, Oleg Lyndin, and the Dokshitsy District Executive Committee, Oleg Kovalenok, as examples, linking the improvement of the situation in many areas to their activities.
The Legmash plant is focused on improving economic indicators. The enterprise, under the leadership of Sergey Kolos, whose contract extension has been approved, is carrying out systematic production diversification and technical re-equipment. At the same time, the plant's team is actively working to expand partnerships with the foreign business community.
To conclude the personnel day, Nikolay Sherstnev traditionally focuses on results. Make well-considered decisions, execute assignments unconditionally – this is the management council for all leaders.
