The representative of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office visited the Polotsk Border Detachment
On the eve of the professional holiday, Border Guard Day, a representative of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office visited the Polotsk Border Detachment.
During the visit, Viktor Kolbun, Head of the Department of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office for Supervision of Legislation Enforcement in the Troops, held a reception for servicemen on personal matters, and familiarized himself with the conditions of service, daily life, and leisure of conscripts.
Afterwards, the prosecutor met separately with officers and ensigns of the border detachment, and spoke on the topic of strengthening the region's border security and developing the border service. He drew the attention of the servicemen to the issues of preventing and deterring military crimes and other offenses, and provided specific examples.
At the end of the lecture, the representative of the supervisory authority congratulated those present on their professional holiday and thanked them for their service. - "At all times, defending the borders of one's Motherland, standing guard over its frontiers has been a dangerous, but very honorable task. Our history knows many examples when it was the border guards who took the first, hardest blows of the enemy, saving their native Belarus. Their courage, fearlessness, and selfless devotion are a worthy example for the new generation of servicemen. Today, the border troops, multiplying glorious military traditions and combat power, continue to remain a reliable defense of Belarusian statehood, a guarantee of the security and integrity of its borders," Viktor Kolbun summarized.
