A representative of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office took part in a seminar for state media of the Vitebsk region

A seminar for state media of the Vitebsk region was held in Novopolotsk.

The theme of the training forum was "Regional Media in the Era of Digitalization: New Formats and Competitiveness in the Media Market."

The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, and the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee.

The event was attended by A.M. Kuntsevich, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus, A.N. Karlyukevich, Minister of Information, officials of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, deputy chairmen of city and district executive committees overseeing social issues, heads of state regional media, heads of departments for ideological work (culture) and youth affairs of city and district executive committees, experts in communications (Yandex company, the Publishing House "Belarus Segodnya" of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus), and representatives of the Faculty of Journalism of Belarusian State University.

During the seminar, issues of the development of the printed word, promising directions, and competitiveness were discussed. Shortcomings in the design of print media were examined with specific examples, focusing on modern design, technologies, publication quality, and media impact. The forum participants also discussed the organization of media editorial work on Internet platforms, new media platforms, and technologies in the service of state interests.

Following the training event, editorial leaders were invited to analyze personnel work on the ground, continue to improve the design of print media, focus on the preparation of analytical materials within a problem-oriented perspective, and constantly search for relevant information for the region.
