A representative of the Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor's Office met with the staff of the Transport Inspectorate for the Vitebsk Region

In September-October 2020, the Vitebsk transport prosecutor's office conducted an inspection of the performance of control functions and compliance with current legislation by the branch of the Transport Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region of the State Institution "Transport Inspectorate of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus".

Based on the results of the inspection of the implementation of administrative and administrative-procedural legislation, a meeting of the work collective was held, at which the prosecutor's representative highlighted the key points.

Officials of the inspectorate often carry out procedural actions and bring foreign citizens to justice, in connection with which the issues of ensuring the right to use one's native language or the language spoken by an individual, or the services of an interpreter, become relevant.

Attention was also drawn to the need to take all measures provided for by law for a comprehensive, complete, and objective investigation of the circumstances of an administrative offense.

At the end of the meeting, the prosecutor's representative answered pressing questions.
