A representative of the Vitebsk Transport Prosecutor's Office met with senior students of a secondary school in Vitebsk
During the meeting, the prosecutor drew the attention of the youth to the issues of preventing injuries and deaths on railways, and the causes of transport incidents.
Since the beginning of the current year alone, five people, including one minor, have been injured on railway tracks in the Vitebsk region due to collisions with railway rolling stock.
The main causes of the incidents were inattention and carelessness of the victims themselves when crossing tracks, as well as the victims being in a state of alcohol intoxication.
In addition, the prosecutor's representative separately explained the grounds for bringing minors to administrative and criminal liability, including those committed through the global computer network Internet, and provided examples. She urged social media users to be more careful and thoughtful when viewing news feeds, posts, and comments.
Work in this direction will continue.
