Representatives of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office took part in the conference of the NGO "Belarusian Women's Union"

Representatives of the primary organization of the Belarusian Women's Union of the Vitebsk region prosecutor's office took part as delegates in the reporting and election conference of the United Organization of the Prosecutor's Office of the Belarusian Women's Union.

During the conference, the chairperson Daria Lebedeva reported on the activities of the United Organization of the Prosecutor's Office of the Belarusian Women's Union. The areas of activity of the primary organizations of the Belarusian Women's Union, which took an active part in charitable movements, including in cooperation with trade union organizations, with the Belarusian Republican Union of Lawyers, and in interaction with regional, city, and district organizations of the Belarusian Women's Union, were highlighted.

From March 2017 to May 2021, there was regular participation in events: for Children's Day, "Let's Pack a Backpack Together," for Mother's Day, etc., during which gifts were presented to children left without parental care, and financial assistance was provided to mothers raising children with disabilities.

It was also noted that participation in socially significant events and projects unites us within the framework of public activities.

Along with other issues, the delegates' attention was drawn to the need to intensify work on covering the activities and events held by primary organizations in the media.

During the conference, a new chairperson of the united organization of the prosecutor's office of the Belarusian Women's Union was elected; it was Elena Demko, Deputy Head of the Department of Appellate Protest of the General Prosecutor's Office. In addition, members of the board and the audit commission were elected.
