Representatives of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office took part in the work of a multidisciplinary group

Another meeting of the multidisciplinary working group was held in Vitebsk. The purpose of the event: redirection for the purpose of providing reintegration and rehabilitation assistance to victims of human trafficking.

On the agenda: the current situation in the sphere of combating human trafficking in the Republic of Belarus, achievements and new challenges.

Employees of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, representatives of the International Organization for Migration, the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Red Cross Society, and other interested departments took part in the discussion.

Meetings of the multidisciplinary group with the participation of prosecutors are held on the basis of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2014 between state bodies, public associations and international organizations on issues of preventing and combating illegal migration and human trafficking.
