Representatives of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office took part in the eighth reporting and election conference of the Vitebsk City Organization of the NGO "Belarusian Women's Union".

Representatives of the primary organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women" of the Vitebsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office participated as delegates in the eighth reporting and election conference of the Vitebsk City Organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women".

During the conference, T.A. Veremey, a board member of the primary organization of veterans of the Vitebsk City Organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women", delivered a report on the history of the women's movement in the city of Vitebsk.

V.V. Glushin, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, welcomed the conference participants.

N.V. Kultenko, Chairperson of the Vitebsk City Organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women", and L.S. Zvolinskaya, Chairperson of the Audit Committee, reported on the activities of the Vitebsk City Organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women" and the audit committee.

In addition, delegates and guests of the conference spoke, highlighting the areas of activity of the primary organizations of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women", which actively participate in charitable movements and campaigns: for Children's Day, "Let's Pack a Schoolbag Together", "Give Good!" for International Day of Persons with Disabilities, etc. It was noted that participation in socially significant campaigns and projects is aimed at creating a positive image of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women" and informing people about the activities of the public association.

A representative of the Smolensk Regional Council of Women shared her work experience.

Along with other issues, the conference resolved to: organize active work to form public opinion about the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women" and promote innovative experience in enhancing the organization's prestige; consider the work on spiritual and moral education, eradication of negative phenomena in families, formation of a healthy lifestyle, strengthening of family traditions and values as one of the main tasks of all structural divisions.
