The President signed a decree on conscription for active military service in March-May 2026
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 67 "On Dismissal to the Reserve and Conscription for Compulsory Military Service, Service in the Reserve" on February 23.
The document provides for the conscription in March-May 2026 for compulsory military service and service in the reserve of male citizens of Belarus who have reached the age of 18 by the day of conscription and who do not have the right to deferment from conscription, as well as citizens of conscription age who have lost the right to deferment.
At the same time, the decree provides for the dismissal to the reserve of servicemen of compulsory military service who have served the established terms of military service.
