Admission to LTP No. 4

Officials of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office conducted an on-site reception for individuals residing at the therapeutic and labor prophylactic facility No. 4 of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk Region, located in Vitebsk.

During the reception, 8 individuals sought assistance with various issues, including disagreements with court decisions in civil cases, the application of criminal law by internal affairs bodies, and the possibility of shortening the period of stay in the therapeutic and labor prophylactic facility.

Each applicant received clarification on the procedure for substantive consideration of their issues and practical advice in accordance with the provisions of the legislation.

Following the reception, prosecutor's office staff inspected compliance with legislative requirements regarding the living and working conditions of individuals held at the facility. They also discussed with the facility's management issues related to the compulsory isolation and medico-social rehabilitation of individuals engaged in labor, the protection of their rights and legitimate interests, and the fulfillment of their obligations.
