The Instruction on the Procedure for Conducting the Annual Regional Competition Among Journalists and Media Editorial Offices has been adopted

The decision of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated September 7, 2020 No. 510 "On holding the annual regional competition", which approved the Instructions on the procedure for holding the annual regional competition among journalists and editorial offices of mass media, has entered into force.

The purpose of the competition is to intensify the work of editorial offices of print, television and radio broadcasting media in comprehensively and objectively informing the population about events of socio-political, socio-economic and cultural life, to improve the professional and ideological content level of mass media, including in the global computer network Internet, to stimulate the creative activity of journalists and other employees of legal entities entrusted with the functions of editorial offices of mass media.

Editorial offices of print, television and radio broadcasting media registered in the Republic of Belarus in the manner prescribed by law, their Internet resources, as well as news agencies, online publications, journalists and other employees of editorial offices of mass media registered in the Republic of Belarus in the manner prescribed by law, carrying out their activities in the Vitebsk region, can participate in the competition in the following nominations:

  1. "Best Print Media of the Vitebsk Region";
  2. "Best Television, Radio Broadcasting Media of the Vitebsk Region";
  3. "Best Online Publication, Internet Resource of Mass Media of the Vitebsk Region";
  4. "Best Creative Works of a Young Journalist in Mass Media";
  5. "Best Creative Project in Print Media";
  6. "Best Creative Project in Television, Radio Broadcasting Media";
  7. "Best Creative Project in a News Agency, Online Publication, Internet Resource of Mass Media";
  8. "Best Photo Materials in Mass Media";
  9. "Best Television Cameraman's Work in Mass Media".
